The Neuroscience of Leadership

We are proud to announce the 21st HRRH congress will be hosted by the city of Milan.

Today, we would like to present our first speaker, Dr. Steven Poelmans, who will talk about the neuroscience of leadership. Continuous learning and change can't be led by an authority focused on planning, command and control. We will look into successful ways to use concepts like self-management and autonomy:

Dr. Steven Poelmans

Dr. Steven Poelmans is professor of Neuroscience and Strategic Leadership at Antwerp Management School (BE) and EADA Business School (SP). He holds a M. Organizational Psychology, M. Marketing Management, Ph.D. Management, and Postgraduate in Neuroscience of Leadership.

He is the founder of the NeuroTrainingLab™, a neuroscience-based leadership development methodology. Dr. Poelmans has twenty years of teaching experience at seven business schools in three continents, teaching Organizational Behavior, Managerial Communication, Cross-Cultural Management, (Neuro)/Leadership, and Coaching.

He is author of several dozens of articles in peer-reviewed journals, five academic books, and 28 book chapters.

Originally from Flanders, Belgium, Steven lives in Barcelona, Spain.

The Event

During the HRRH congres 2019, highlevel HR professionals will get the opportunity to:

  • share ideas and insights with the largest Belgian HR community
  • get inspired by HR influencers with various international backgrounds 

Throughout these two days we create an atmosphere in which you'll be able to listen to and discuss the latest HR trends and insights with both experts and fellow managers.
